Premier League Matchweek 9 brings three big games this weekend: Chelsea host Manchester United on Saturday, Manchester City face Brighton, and Liverpool take on Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday. Here is what to watch in each game.
Chelsea vs Manchester United — Saturday, 5:30pm PKT
Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening. Chelsea have won two of their last five league games, while United are without a win in five, with three draws and two defeats in that run. Both sides need the points, and this fixture rarely disappoints.
Manchester City vs Brighton — Saturday, 8:00pm PKT
Later on Saturday, Manchester City host Brighton at the Etihad Stadium. Both teams won four in a row before losing their last game, so something has to give. Brighton have made a habit of troubling the big sides, and City will want to get straight back to winning ways.
Liverpool vs Arsenal — Sunday, 9:30pm PKT
The weekend’s headline game is on Sunday night, when Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield. Liverpool have won their last two league games, while Arsenal have won their last three. With both sides chasing the top of the table, this is the game that could shape the title race.
Elsewhere this weekend, Tottenham host Crystal Palace, Aston Villa face Fulham, and the round closes on Monday night with Newcastle against Everton.
