Manchester United came from 2-0 down to beat Roma 3-2 in a dramatic Champions League night, while Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Villarreal 6-0. Barcelona beat Aston Villa 3-0 and Bayern Munich beat Atletico Madrid 2-0.
Manchester United 3-2 Roma
Manchester United were 2-0 down at half-time at Old Trafford. Bruno Fernandes pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 58th minute. Then Matheus Cunha scored twice, in the 83rd and 86th minutes, to complete the comeback.
The win gives United a big boost in the league phase. Roma led early but could not hold on as United pushed forward late in the game.

PSG 6-0 Villarreal
Paris Saint-Germain produced the biggest win of the night, beating Villarreal 6-0 in Paris. PSG scored four goals in the first 17 minutes, a Champions League record for the fastest four goals in a match.
The win puts PSG top of the league phase with 12 points. Villarreal had no answer to PSG’s fast start and never got back into the game.
Barcelona 3-0 Aston Villa
Barcelona beat Aston Villa 3-0 at home. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 7th minute, and Raphinha added two more goals in the 52nd and 64th minutes.
Villa could not find a way through Barcelona’s defence, and the home side controlled the game from start to finish.

Bayern Munich beat Atletico Madrid 2-0, and Inter beat Feyenoord 3-0. Galatasaray beat Stuttgart 2-0, Sporting beat Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0, and LASK beat Slovan Bratislava 4-0. Bodo/Glimt drew 0-0 with Lille.
The nine matches produced 26 goals in total. The Champions League league phase continues next week.
